Our idea of climbing the steps to the church on the hill in Petra, followed by Sunday brunch was quite quickly turned upside down when we realized the church holds a Sunday service. Taking photos while people were in prayer, didn’t feel appropriate, so we hopped in a taxi to Molyvos instead. This time we made our way through the narrow cobblestone streets, snapping pictures as we went. I can’t remember if we stopped in any shops – probably though. There’s always room for one more souvenir. We stopped for a drink and snack at a restaurant that looked over the harbor and snapped some more pics as the view was too good to ignore. Some chicken and delicious mashed potato at a harbor front restaurant made it into our belly’s for lunch and eventually we hopped on the village train back to Petra. Knowing that we would be going on one more excursion the day before going home, we decided to pack as much as we could into our suitcases before heading out for dinner. Though the cameras and long lenses went with us, as church service was over. So we took our chance and climbed the stairs to snap cool shots from the top. Climbing was so worth it, just look at that pic I got of the sun over the sea.
