While I’m never going to become a professional anything… I do like having a go at the things that professionals do and then with my own twist. Deafblind people can… I just have to take a different path to get to the same destination. Dogs are more oblivious to what’s happening when you take their portrait. So while I should probably stick to dogs – because all they care about is the tasty treat that’s coming after the camera made a ‘click’ – I figured humans would also make perfect subjects to take photos of. They tend to care more about how they look though, so I’m going to need a bit of sighted help to remove anything that contains a facial expression that looks like they’re pooping! While I enjoy taking nature walks and snapping shots as I go, I figured human portraits would add an extra fun challenge to my journey with my camera.
As you can see from the photos below, Jessy was my first victi…. um… I mean…. volunteer.
